Research: Music Magazine Institutions

Research into Magazine Institutions:

 

Write a brief biography for each of the main companies listed below:

 

1.      Bauer

2.      IPC Media

3.      EMAP

4.      Monkey OR Future

 

For each biography you should include an image of the company’s logo as well as including the following points:

 

1.      When were they established?

2.      Give some information about who they are.

3.      Give an example of the types of magazines they produce

1.      Include some images of their front covers

2.      Are they mainstream/niche magazines?

 

After you have completed the 4 biographies you should write a brief paragraph explaining:   

1. Who would own your magazine?
2. Would they be one of the main players or would they be a smaller company such as Monkey/Future?
3. Why?
